Welcome to our Comfortable and Elegant B&B

Our Victorian house was built in 1896, and has been restored and renovated extensively, returning its many historic charms to their original glory while introducing the modern comforts of 21st century living.

Get to Know our Historic Neighborhood

We're in the Ramsey Hill Historic District, a quiet and highly walkable oasis of beautiful old homes, gardens, sites of historic and cultural interest, shopping, and fine dining. In our area are:

Selby Avenue (3 blocks north of the B&B) was the place to shop and eat 100 years ago, and has become so again. Within a 7 block stretch you’ll find:

Summit Avenue (2 blocks south of the B&B) is truly a city walker’s paradise, with the longest continuous stretch of original Victorian housing in the country, well-maintained in a wide variety of building styles. Explore The Avenue's glorious architecture with a walking tour, while enjoying broad sidewalks and lots of shade trees.  On the eastern end of the Avenue are James J. Hill's house, the St. Paul Cathedral, and the Minnesota History Center.

Grand Avenue (1 block further south) is a delightful combination of historic residential and retail architecture and shopping. Among the offerings nearest to the B&B are:
